A colourful, editorial recipe site built to grow her audience and sell her cookbook.
The Challenge
Christina had always wanted a website of her own — a place where people could discover her delicious recipes, follow her cooking, and find her cookbook. She had years of recipes and beautiful photography; what she needed was a site that did them justice and was easy to find on search.
The Approach
We built it from scratch as a custom WordPress site, with a distinctive, colourful editorial design crafted together with the excellent work of Nina Morari Studio. We created a custom recipe management system so every recipe has consistent, structured fields, added recipe schema so search engines could read the content from day one, and set the site up in both Greek and English — with the cookbook given its own dedicated space.
The Solution
A custom WordPress site with a bespoke recipe management system, recipe structured data for SEO, organised ingredient and category taxonomies, full Greek / English support, and a section to feature and sell her cookbook — all wrapped in a colourful, mobile-first reading experience.
